Podolski Psychiatry

Podolski Psychiatry PLLC is a private psychiatric practice, located in West Hartford, CT. We provide complete psychiatric evaluations and treatment to patients located in Connecticut and Massachusetts. 

Our goal for our patients is to help you live your life to the fullest. Change is inevitable. Just like the ocean, our lives will go from being calm and steady, to unrest and revolted. We, as humans, need to learn how to navigate the tides of change. We want to help you embrace who you are and reach your best potential. 

Dr. Podolski is originally from Costa Rica, where she completed medical school at the Universidad de Costa Rica. She practiced as a general physician in her homeland, before moving to the United States and pursuing residency training in psychiatry. She completed a Psychiatry Residency at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. This was followed by a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Throughout her career, she has dedicated ample time to learn about, and treat patients who struggle with Eating Disorders. She has previously been the Medical Director of an inpatient eating disorders unit, adding to the vast experience she has in treating these individuals at an outpatient level of care. Her previous clinical experience as a general physician is a strength when it comes to treating this complex population. She is knowledgeable about medical complications of eating disorders and understands the importance of a collaborative team approach.




Dr. Podolski has worked with many adults struggling with varied psychiatric illnesses. She has experience in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Her approach is integrative, not only using the more traditional tools like psychopharmacology (medication management) and psychotherapy, but recognizing the importance of other treatment options, like nutrition, yoga, meditation. 


Dr. Podolski completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has expertise in working with ADHD, school accommodations, mood, and anxiety disorders in this population. She has treated children and adolescents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
